UAV Location Optimization in MISO ZF Pre-Coded VLC Networks

Use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to provide on-demand communications has been receiving growing interest, especially for use in remote and hard-to-reach areas. Also, the light-emitting diode -based lighting UAVs opened opportunities data transmission through visible-light communications. To manage multi-user interference while avoiding complex handover procedures, we consider zero forcing (ZF) pre-coding. Since performance ZF pre-coding depends on correlation between channel gains users, propose this letter reduce it by means location optimization UAVs. More specifically, particle swarm with objective maximizing overall achievable network throughput. Furthermore, relax requirements at UAVs, investigate case when is performed a specific rate under different mobility conditions.
